The Inside Sales - Carrier Representative position is primarily responsible for building relationships with transporation companies for transporting freight throught the US and Canada. Leads comes through inbound calls, building repeat business, prospecting for new business through online research, email, phone.and other methods. This is a high energy position actively working with transporation companies, internal account managers and management. Skills needed are the ability to negotiate, problem solve, multi-task and utilize IT systems. This position uses email, phone and online chat to communicate along with working with in-office staff.

Description of responsibilities:

• Receive inbound calls to negotate deals with transportation companies.
• Work with internal account managers to find the best possible options for our customers and relay service updates.
• Track shipments to provide top of class customer service..
• Work proactive on assigned shipments and accounts as the sole service provider.

Required skills:

• Multi-task between transactions at the same time, while delivering results for customers.
• Build relationships to secure repeat business.
• Strong communication with customers, co-workers, account managers and management.
• Strong computer skills with ability to communicate via email and do Internet research.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
